Picks for January 4, 2008

Picks for January 4, 2008

By Jason Wall - Daily Online Trading Picks

Been slacking a little bit with the holidays, but promise starting January 14th, I will be back full time to the day trading. I will try to post every day next week, but can't promise.

Dec 20 Wrap-up:

Uranium stocks are again picking up momentum. Not sure if they will continue the ride or pull back again. Keep watching your candlesticks.

WNR did in fact pull back again and has double bottomed. It will be interesting if it goes below it's 52 week low. This would have been a good short when I called it last week.

Friday's BUYS: (if market is up)

UUU.TO looks to have broken some support and ready make a break out
WDC - watch this one. It currently has a bullish reversal candlestick and has bounced off an uptrend so this one should be ready to go back up. Tomorrow is important to watch for a confirm candlestick.
TIM.TO - one more down day on this one. Maybe put an alert for around $18.00. Might be a good entry point as it will bounce off an uptrend and will hit the 20 day moving average.

Generally strong sectors are oil, uranium, mining, gold, potash.

Friday's SHORTS: (if market is down)

I will just mention some general short sectors... Financial, chip stocks

Good trading to everyone...

Picks for December 20, 2007

Picks for December 20, 2007

By Jason Wall - Daily Online Trading Picks

Wednesday's Wrap-up:

Most of the stocks from Wednesday were up big. ASX.VN was up 22% and DIT.VN was up 18%. UUU.TO was up only .09, but still closed over it's open today, so there should be a Buy signal on that one today. TIM.TO was halted at the end of the day after a huge run up with about an hour left in the day, so there is news pending right now. Not sure if it is good or bad news.

Thursday's BUYS: (if market is up)

The commodity stocks should again be strong on Thursday.
Ones I am watching: UUU.TO, MGA.TO, TIM.TO, CCO.TO, DML.TO, TVC.VN

Heads up: With Options expiring on Friday, be careful on your swing trades. Wednesday and Thursday should be up days, but Friday...who knows. Friday could be volatile.

Wednesday's SHORTS: (if market is down)

WNR - should still play below the 20 DMA. As long as it stays below the 20 DMA a short sale would be a good risk / reward.

That's it for now...

Good trading to everyone...

Picks for December 19, 2007

Picks for December 19, 2007

By Jason Wall - Daily Online Trading Picks

Tuesday's Wrap-up:

TIM.TO - bounced off of 17.00 and then tanked. A short at $17.00 would have been good. A cover at $16.00 would have left money on the table if daytrade, but swing trade would have been nice.

Wednesday's BUYS: (if market is up)

UUU.TO - looks like this stock has some stability the past two days. Might be a good play if the market is up on Wednesday.

ASX.VN - Nice possible reversal. Penny stock, but has some good potential in the next two days.

TVC.VN - This stock had a nice pop at the end of the day. Might be nice day trade.

DIT.VN - (penny stock), but has potential right now for swing trade.

Many of the commodity stocks are over sold and might be a good day trade or swing trade.

Heads up: With Options expiring on Friday, be careful on your swing trades. Wednesday and Thursday should be up days, but Friday...who knows. Friday could be volatile.

Wednesday's SHORTS:

TIM.TO - something is happening with TIM so cover the shorts on this one if you have them.

Financial's like CFC (Countrywide Financials) are looking weak

ODP (Office Depot) another weak looking stock.

That's it for now...

Good trading to everyone...

Picks for December 18, 2007

By Jason Wall - Daily Online Trading Picks

Wrap-up:

I have been off from trading for a couple of days, but am back.

Tuesday's BUYS:

TIM.TO - could get into TIM.TO at Open or if it pulls back a wee bit right away in AM. $17.00 is a big resistance level so wise to sell at $17.00. Risky to hold it if it pulls back from $17.00. Odds are that it will bounce off of $17.00 and pull back

Uranium stocks are really pulling back so would not be playing these right now, unless consider a swing trade.

Tuesday's SHORTS:

TIM.TO - May sound funny, but once TIM.TO hits $17.00, it may be a good short. May be smart to cover at $16.00 if daytrading. I don't like keeping a short over night, but this could be a nice short swing trade, just be careful.

Airlines: Because of the high oil prices, these maybe a good short today. Just don't short Westjet Airlines.

That's it for now...

Good trading to everyone...

Picks for December 12, 2007

Picks for December 12, 2007

By Jason Wall - Daily Online Trading Picks

Tuesday Wrap-up:

Uranium stocks were up nice during the day...that is until the Fed came out with their "decision". After that, not too many stocks held up very well. That is except for UUU.TO. Uranium One closed 2% higher...that was incredible. I think all on comments from Raymond James that the target for UUU.TO is $16.00. With UUU.TO trading at just over 9.00 the risk/reward is pretty good.

Wednesday's BUYS:

URANIUM STOCKS - I am still on board for some swing trades on Uranium stocks. The following are uranium stocks that I am tracking:

UUU.TO, DML.TO (DNN), MGA.TO, PNP.TO, USU, CCO.TO (CCJ)

Wednesday's SHORTS:

Financials: In general, today only for now, financial stocks might be a good short play.

CFC (Countrywide Financial)

Airlines: Because of the high oil prices, these maybe a good short today. Just don't short Westjet Airlines.

Remember, shorts would be daytrade only...

That's it for now...

Good trading to everyone...

Picks for December 11, 2007

By Jason Wall - Daily Online Trading Picks

Monday Wrap-up:

Results again were mixed on Monday with Uranium stocks. Some Uraniums were up, others were down a bit. But the general trend is up.

Tuesday's BUYS:

URANIUM STOCKS - I am still on board for some swing trades on Uranium stocks. The following are uranium stocks that I am tracking:

UUU.TO, DML.TO (DNN), MGA.TO, PNP.TO, USU, CCO.TO (CCJ)

I am still holding on until I see a reversal.

UUU.TO has a target price now from Raymond James of around $16.00. It is now trading at just over $9.00. That is some pretty good upside and a great risk/reward trade.

Tuesday's SHORTS:

NONE: I am still uncomfortable with shorting stocks right now with the fed decision today.

That's it for now...

Good trading to everyone...

Picks for December 10, 2007

Picks for December 10, 2007

By Jason Wall - Daily Online Trading Picks

Friday Wrap-up:

Results were mixed on Friday. Some Uraniums were up, others were down a bit. UUU.TO held up nice on Friday seems to be ready for a run-up if the markets continue being strong. USU was up about 8% on the day as well.

BUYS:

URANIUM STOCKS - I am still on board for some swing trades on Uranium stocks. The following are uranium stocks that I am tracking:

UUU.TO, DML.TO (DNN), MGA.TO, PNP.TO, USU, CCO.TO (CCJ)

Buying on pullbacks should be considered. Many of these stocks could play to the top of the bollinger band and could even go above. However, it may not be a bad idea to take profits on half of your position when the price hits the top of the bollinger band. On the run up, watch for a bearish reversal candlestick and then take profits.

Other buys include: EMC, SWC (this one has run up pretty good, and might want to wait for a pullback)

SHORTS:

NONE: I am still uncomfortable with shorting stocks right now with the fed decision on Tuesday. If you are considering going short, consider it only a daytrade.

That's it for now...

Next week I will have a post related to some good junior uranium companies to invest in.

Good trading to everyone...

Picks for December 7, 2007

Picks for December 7, 2007

By Jason Wall - Daily Online Trading Picks

YESTERDAY:

We did very well yesterday, calling things pretty well with UUU.TO and TIM.TO. TIM.TO played almost exactly how we thought it would. You could have made some good money with that stock yesterday. We did not get to 9.00 on UUU.TO, but it ended the day at 8.90. If you sold at the end of the day you would have had a nice little profit. But...will be back into UUU.TO today on any pullbacks...see below.

BUYS:

URANIUM STOCKS - Uranium stocks setting up to be in a great position for a nice rally. As a result, these would be some great swing trades. Warren Buffet has now entered the Nuclear game, so who is to argue with the best. The following Uranium stocks have the best potential:

UUU.TO, DML.TO (DNN), MGA.TO, PNP.TO, USU, CCO.TO (CCJ)

Buying on pullbacks may not be a bad idea today. Many of these stocks could play to the top of the bollinger band and could even go above. However, it may not be a bad idea to take profits on half of your position when the price hits the top of the bollinger band.

HELLO SANTA CLAUS RALLY!!!!!

SHORTS:

NONE: With the fed looking to lower the interest rate in the US by either .25 or .50, I don't see it wise now to even consider shorting a stock. Maybe on a very quick daytrade would be OK as some do sell into a rally, but I will NOT be doing any shorting until the fed comes out with their decision.

That's it for now...

Good trading to everyone...

Picks for December 6, 2007

Picks for December 6, 2007

By Jason Wall - Daily Online Trading Picks

BUYS:

TIM.TO (Toronto Stock Exchange) - Daytrade - Try to get in at 16.60 in the morning and sell at just over 17.00. Maybe 17.10.

UUU.TO (Toronto Stock Exchange) - Swing Trade - Could buy on pullback in the AM at around 8.50 and could sell at just over 9.00. It could get to over $9.00 today, tomorrow or Monday so this will be a swing trade. A second target price would be $9.25.

SHORTS:

TIM.TO - (Toronto Stock Exchange) - Daytrade - after a sell on TIM.TO at just over 17.10, a short sale may be in order. Should only short it if it stays below $17.20. Cover at around 16.50 if you are daytrading. This may be a good swing trade as well, but I do not short swing trades.

That's it for now...

Good trading to everyone...

The Insider Secrets to Selling on eBay

The Insider Secrets to Selling on eBay

By Jason Wall - Daily Online Trading Picks

I've just heard about an exciting opportunity that I had to share with you right away. It involves the website eBay.com, and requires a bit of work on your part.

However, the payoff for you could be absolutely HUGE!

Let me explain...

I just received a message from Derek Gehl of the Internet Marketing Center, who had some pretty amazing news...

He told me that for the first time ever, he's convinced his elite team of eBay PowerSellers to let him put their proven success system down on paper, so ANYONE can use it to achieve life-changing income on eBay.

(This is the same system his eBay experts are using to teach their students how to build their own successful eBay businesses. Many of these students are making $1,000 to $10,000 a month on eBay -- within a matter of weeks!)

Anyway, here's where the 'opportunity' part comes in...

See, because this is the first time he's released this system to the general public, he needs more people who can "testify" that his system actually works.

If making a LOT of money (at least $100,000+ in your first year) is something that interests you, I'd like to invite you to check out a "review copy" of his new eBay profit system and give it a try!

And because he's so certain you're going to achieve incredible success with this system, he's willing to let you test-drive it absolutely risk free for a full 30 days -- for only 99 cents!

Derek is banking on the fact that you'll be up and running and making BIG profits on eBay in the next month or so, and will write him a nice "testimonial" that he can put up on his web page when he rolls out his full launch of this system to the public.

If not, no big deal... Just send it back and it won't have cost you anything.

Sound interesting? You can take part by going to:

http://www.auctiontips.com/t.cgi/778637/powersellers

Feel free to send me an e-mail if you have any questions at info@auctiontips.com or call 1-800-595-9855.

P.S. I should mention, by the way, that this "system" has nothing to do with selling junk from around your house or scrounging stuff from flea markets and reselling it on eBay. See for yourself at:

Great Stock Picking System

Great Stock Picking System

By Jason Wall - Daily Online Trading Picks

"WARNING: Do Not Read This Unless You Are Already Rich!"

... Or Curious About The First Commercially Available Stock Trading "Robot" Which Earns $346.77 Per Week (Managing $1000 Capital).

What I am about to share with you, is a very unusual story.

Unusual... because it is about 2 "geeks", named Michael and Carl. Who developed the first commercially available stock picking "robot". Michael (the programmer) named the robot "Marl".
Above: Carl and Michael Programming "Marl"

Marl came about after Michael developed the famous "Global Alpha" computer stock trading model, while contracted to Goldman Sachs.

A piece of software which most years is responsible for...$4,000,000,000+ Annual Trading Profit

Try this Stock Trading System - Doubling Stocks - FREE for 8 weeks.

With this software project completed, Michael looked for a new way to line his pockets. Unfortunately he had signed a Non Compete and NDA agreement with Goldman Sachs, forbidding him to create software which trades derivatives and similar financial instruments (like Global Alpha).

After 3 weeks of being temporarily unemployed, Michael who was very wealthy and very bored... Decided to start a new project.

Try this Stock Trading System - Doubling Stocks - FREE for 8 weeks.

You' see Goldman Sachs and most other large investment funds are at a major disadvantage. They often manage portfolios of up to $10,000,000,000 (ten billion dollars) - and because of this when they invest in stocks their scope is limited to just a few of the worlds largest firms (Coca-Cola, Google).

This problem is widespread amongst fund managers whom manage large amounts of capital. In fact Warren Buffet (Whom manages $53 billion) has the exact same problem.
